Which parts are usually used in CNC machining?

As is known to all, CNC machining centers are suitable for complex processing, multi-process, high requirements and high demands, various types of ordinary machine tools and various tooling fixtures, and parts that require multiple clamping and adjustments. Its processing objects are mainly box-type parts, complex curved surfaces, special-shaped parts, composite plate-type parts and CNC processing.

Box parts

Box-type parts generally refer to parts with a porous system, inner cavity, and a certain length, width, and height ratio. Such parts are mainly used in industries such as machine tools, automobiles, and aircraft manufacturing. Box-type parts generally require multi-station hole-making and plane processing, with high tolerance requirements, especially relatively strict form and position tolerance requirements. They usually undergo processes such as milling, drilling, reaming, boring, reaming, spot welding, tapping, and others, and require more tools. When processing box parts with a processing center, when there are multiple processing stations and the parts can only pass through the work, a boring and milling processing center is generally selected.

Complex surfaces

Complex surfaces play a very important role in mechanical manufacturing, especially in the aerospace industry. Using ordinary processing methods, it is very difficult or even impossible to complete complex surfaces. In our country, the traditional casting method is precision casting, and one can imagine that its precision is relatively low. For complex curved surface parts.
Special-shaped parts

Special-shaped parts are irregular parts, and most of them require multi-station mixed processing of points, lines, and surfaces. The stiffness of special-shaped parts is generally poor, it is difficult to control the clamping deformation, and it is difficult to guarantee the processing accuracy. Even some parts of some parts are difficult to complete with ordinary machine tools. When processing with a processing center, reasonable technological measures should be taken, and one or two clampings should be carried out. The mixed processing characteristics of the processing center have multi-stations and can complete multiple or all processes
Discs, sleeves, and plates

For disc-shaped parts with keyways or radial holes or distributed hole systems, curved disc sleeves or shaft zeros, such as flange shaft sleeves, keyway or square-head shaft parts, and porous processing plates, a vertical processing center should be selected. For disc-shaped parts with distributed holes and curved surfaces on the end faces of various motors, a horizontal processing center with radial holes should be selected.
Test pieces of new products

The processing center has wide adaptability and high flexibility. When changing the processing object, CNC processing can be achieved by compiling and inputting a new program.
